How's it going? I just got a '72 SS 350 (bored to 388) last week and I figured this would be a great place to get suggestions and advice along the road. So HI!
A little bit about me & her.
She used to be a straight drags car but I got her so that I can do tuning work at school so street legal we go! Currently not running as I just removed the nitrous (I HATE nitrous), MSD and the fuel cell is damaged. She is bright red, 350 40over 388, 350 turbo, 4-speed automatic, scat stroker crank, eagle h beam rods, 600 lift cam - 305 duration, dart heads, roller rockers, forged flat top pistons, msd distributor, msd 6al digital box, roll cage, fuel cell, 3500 10" converter, 342 10-bolt posse, fiberglass 4" cowl hood, 5% tint and two flat tires!
I plan on painting her white with black details, modding out the system on the inside to accustom my tastes, remove the roll cage, put a fuel tank/stainless steel fuel lines in, re-do the entire front suspension (sags about two inches off the ground), DEF need some new front tires! 6-speed T56 manual tranny, four wheel disc brakes, magnaflow dual exhaust with ceramic headers, steel 2-3" cowl hood then finish her off with some custom white/black leather interior.
On the other hand, I'm a 22 year old mechanic chick. I'm graduating auto school in two months then going to high performance racing school before I move out to Arizona to race trucks for a living (at least that's my dream that's reasonably within my grasp) and this is my first big project car aside from my daily driver truck. When I'm not playing with my cars, I'm sleeping, hanging out with my boyfriend, working my life away/job hunting, riding dirt bikes or drinking. Oh what a fabulous life.

THats one BadA$$ Camaro!! 2nd Gens are my 2nd Favorite Camaros.

Thanks! I really like it too! I'm not a huge fan of red so I'm really wanting to go for white and black but I do lovelovelove the rims and the hood may or may not stay as a 4" ... I might opt for a 2-3" but I havn't decided yet. I want her to be classy on the outside and mean under the hood
