Hey everybody. Just checkin in. My name is Matt and I live in northwest Indiana. A little about me... I am 15 right now. My birthday is april 15. I got my car last May and since then it has changed quite a bit. My car is an 89 RS convertible. When I got it, everything was stock except for a Flowmaster cat-back system. I have since than done tons and tons of stuff to it. I have put in new monroe(cheap) shocks, UMI panhard bar, Energy suspension trans mount and torque arm bushing. I swapped the stock 2.73 rear end for a 3.73 rear end for a little more acceleration. I gave it a full tune up. Bosche platinum plugs and wires, new coil, fuel filter, breather.... I am changing the 305 out next month if all goes as planned for a 350. I am right now running open headers with like half of a y pipe lol. I have done a lot of other stuff too... custom sail panels, sound system stuff. Im gonna stop before I right a book, but I hope to enjoy my stay here!

 

I checked out your cardomain... Nice ride, dude. Makes me miss my 86 Z28. I had the same exact alpine head unit in mine! lol. I was 16 when I got that car. it had a 400 small block. I had headers into glasspacks into straight pipes on mine. The glasspacks really mellowed out the tone and gave it that really throaty sound. What color are you gonna paint it? And NO don't do a rear seat delete. i live in eastern indiana ride on the ohio line. How much did you pay for that?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. haha yea I actually just sold my Alpine on ebay and put in a JVC out of my moms cavalier that just got totalled b/c that was going to be my daily driver but oh well. Still haven't decided on a color yet...maybe a darker gray than before with some black stripes or something, maybe some kinda blue. I decided against the rear seat delete also. All the interior is back in the car. I payed 1500 for it when I got it last year.
