I'm not new to the fourm, but the car is new. I traded my 04 Porsche 911.

On an Aston Martin Vantage V8. 4.3 liter DOHC variable everything V8, 410 HP, 6-speed, double wisbone suspension, 15 inch brakes discs, lots of real carbon fiber (drive shaft, body, parts of the chassis. All leather interior, etc. .

I can't buy anything for a long time. I spent all my money on the Aston Martin.

Well, to put it more accurately, I had money before I blew it on a car that costs as much as a new Porsche Carrera and a new Vette.

 

How could you get rid of a Porsche 911, gotta love the germans.

 

Trust me, the Aston is worth it. It is faster than my Carrera was although not as fast as a new direct injection Carrera S (the 09 model at 385 HP. But it will outcorner my Carrera and outbrake anything I have seen (I'm certain there are exotic Porsches that can match it, but . . . Nothing looks as beautiful (my Photo does not do it justice) and it has an exhaust note that is incredible, only a Ferrari 430 is as good. And the interiorp- all hand assembled and hand stiched leather, not vinyl anywhere, is to die for

My Aston's weakness if off the line acceleration. It does about 13 in the quarter but at a higher trap speed than most 13 second cars, because it does a lousy 0-60 time of about 5 seconds. It has a Nurburgring gear set (who actuall ever starts from a stop on a road course) so it is hell on wheels once it gets rolling, though.

It is by far the best car I have ever owned. But hopefullynot thebest car I ever will own.
