its a 1967 firebird with a camaro front clip and a custom grill that im making as of now it is a frankenstein of camaro and firebird parts.

 

this looks familiar.... did you post updates on the project on other boards a few months back?


nice work though, you can hardly tell unless you know what youre looking for.... which sadly.... im not well versed in the back sides of 1st gens so i can hardly tell

 

nope im a newbie at this place, but thanks for the compliment, ive always wanted a camaro and ive always wanted a firebird so i decided to make my own creation.

 

i meant other forums besides CF.com. maybe ls1tech or some other well known site? i know ive seen that car before, or else someone else is doing the same front clip thing. btw, this section is ROTM threads only, so its moved to new members area. u will get more attention there anyways

 

the only other place you might have seen this one is on you tube or myspace?haha i might have started a trend lol

 

Welcome, car looks great! Spector is right, unless you know your first gens. you wouldn't know. 67 Camaro'sor firebirds both look great.

 

Too bad when I click the pic to get a better view it sends me to myspace. I'd like to tell you my opinion but I wont till I see it in more detail.

 

yeah those pics are off my myspace, but you can go there and get a good look at them ,and look at the complete buidup of it,

 

qaurter panels, and i cant tell if you did the tail light panel. but looks good. thats my plan, buy a first gen firebird and swap the front clip. cheaper than buying a camaro. is it 67 or 69 the qaurters are the same?

 

thats why i did this, i liked the fins on the quarters on the firebird and i liked the taillights on the firebird but i didnt like the big ugly nose on the bird so i changed that and kep all the stuff that i thought looked cool, and it was a lot cheaper tooand only the 67 68 qaurters are the same, 69 they changed just about every body panel
