My car
I finally took pics.. Here is my 1980. Found this sitting on a lot in St Paul, mn with 35,xxx original on a 229 ci v6 3 spd I can't wait until warmer weather... Body and frame are absolutely beautiful. I have been passing on this car for 13 years due to one or the other being practically destroyed. Motors are cheaper than body's in my opinion...[image

RE: My car
Hiss, I imagine he means he's been passing on particular versions of this model that he finds because they are trashed.Regardless, this is a great car, and you are right, finding one with a good body even if the motor is shot is the way to go: you can fix or replace a motor, but a body in poor condition is impossible to completely fix (okay, if you have millions, anything can be done).
Welcome. Do you plan to do any mods to it or keep it stock?

RE: My car
I hope to keep it mostly stock.. I have to get better exhaust. This car is too quiet... Can't hardly hear to shift the thing. Would not mind some yaer to put a 350 and 700 R4 into it. A friend has this set up in a 79 vette and gets 17-20mpg... and it has more pep than anything I've been in on the street... Would like to weasel a nice music set up into it w/o disturbing the stock either... With mp3 players the way they are now, I think I should be able to get pretty creative in this machine. between this car and my motorcycle, I'm never gonna have any money...
