Hello all. Decided after lurking for a week or so that it's time to introduce myself. I got my camaro almost three weeks ago. It is a 1990 RS but a PO had it made to look like a IROC Z. Decent job except the decals and stripes are for an earlier year Iroc. I knew this before I traded a 2000 cavalier even up for it. I had $700 in the cavalier. Car runs and drives good but does have some minor problems I'll get into in the proper forums. The usuals like tach reading wrong, problems with cooling fan, some dash lights out, rear hatch, and 700r4 shifting a little questionable. Also the 305 tbi runs good for the most part but wants to stall just off idle when taking off from a stop. As for the car, according to rpo codes it's a 2:73 geared rear end and has air, cruise, pw, pl, and power hatch. Cerainly nothing special.

Welcome to CF. I had a 91 that ran crappy when I bought it. It had been sitting a couple of years so I automatically rebuilt the TBI. Also gave it a tune up; plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I test ran the engine after each, and what cleared it was the cap & rotor. Yours could want everything replaced, especially if it hasn't been done in a long time.
