Jeez...Another Noob
Hello all, just wanted to take a moment of time to properly introduce myself after spending a lot of time lurking through your site.
I am a new owner of a 99 Camaro that used to belong to my mother. It's got four tires and a half tank of gas...lol.
Seriously, just took ownership of this thing from her estate. 1999 Camaro Coupe in Mystic Teal Metallic, with the 3.8 L engine. It was a daily driver for her since it came off the lot. It's been sitting for nearly 6 months as her health declined. Currently sitting at just under 50,000 miles, and I had to buy a new battery a couple of weeks ago (to replace the ORIGINAL!). Currently trying to get smarter on the little thing as I've been a full size pickup owner for 30 years. Thanks for letting me lurk through your site. I'm already much smarter on the engine than I was a week ago. I'm in the process of cleaning and tuning it...after that...who knows. Can't complain though it's getting 25 MPG and still has a little bit of "zip" to it. Hopefully I can find the rest of the 200 HP during the tune up.
Thanks again for allowing me to read through a professional site full of serious Camaro enthusiasts.

Thanks for the welcome. I'll take some pics when I get around to thoroughly cleaning it. I just replaced the left front fender and then found out that they (GM) no longer makes my paint...has to be "made"...thus raising the price exponentially for touch up work.
