thanks guys. It has taken some work to get it to look the way it does now. I had a good start tho, i bought it 12/31/06 with 9700 miles for $16500.

For the mileage, year, and mod list, that sounds like a good price. I looked at a Z28 LS1 that had somwhere around 20k miles and he was asking 16500. I bought my camaro 12/26/06, 24,000 miles, and paid $11k. That might have been a lil steep, comapred to your deal... But my mom took out a home equity line of credit, and I slapped a big check down when I bought it, and I've paid my mom back the past year. I have a full time job, and haven't been able to find a house yet (still living with mommy), so I have been putting most of my salary towards paying off my car - will be paid off the 1st of next month (one year later). So I saved myself some interest. I have the car of my dreams and have had no problems paying it off so, in a way, I don't care if I paid a little too much. It's not everyday you see an immaculate (and I'm talking showroom immaculate) red 95 LT1 come along. I had to drive a long way to see it. I drove a rental car, fat check in hand, and was prepared to drive it home the same day (and did!). I tried to offer 10k, but they weren't budging. They were asking 11,850. Ah, that was a good day. Sorry - y'all might not really care about this...
A 30th anniversary Z28 would have been nice...
EDIT:
Oh, and I got so wrapped up in my own story that I forgot to compliment your ride - the wheels are fantastic. I'm a little picky about size and color of wheels, and yours look perfect.

haha thanks puck...nice story.
yea id have mine paid off but i live on my own, have $65k in student loans, and some credit cards im paying off...so im sticking with the $350/month payments. sounds like youve got quite a car as well.
thanks everyone else for the compliments. it means a lot to see people appreciate my car.
