Default I'm new....and I can't believe my luck!

I just got myself a 69 Camaro!!!! Can't believe the luck I had in getting that one. My dad saw it the other day, and though he has always wanted one, he knew he couldn't afford it so didn't bother asking about it. Well I found out and asked him to take me down so I could ask on it.

Don't know any of the specifics on it as it was tucked into a pretty small garage. It has the Z28 rear spoiler, but not the Z28 hood. It is a V8 but not sure what size (pretty sure motor and tranny are original). And has a 4 speed manual transmission in it. The wheels are aftermarket centerlines (so no luck identifying ss/rs etc via wheels). The interior is black and complete, but it will all have to be reupholstered. Body is straight with minor rust. The owner has had it for 8 years and never got around to restoring it, so he decided to sell it. But he did say it ran when he purchased it, and as we all know what once ran.......can run again!

Best part of all.......I'm picking it up for $800!!!

I gave him $100 down because the bank was closed and wouldn't let me take more than $300 out of the ATM so I will give him the other $700 Monday and bring her home!

Pics will follow Monday when I pick her up!

Very lucky find.

If it is an SS with the original steering wheel it will say "SS" on the wheel center.

If it is an RS it will have the backup lights in the lower valence vice in the taillights. RS taillights will have a horizontal bar through the middle, non-RS will be separated into three sections.
