hey everyone im the new guy. i dont have a camaro yet but i am looking to buy one right now as i type. it is a 79 model needs to be brought up some but looks like it has some potential. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences as far as looking at the car to tell which camaro it is. it is a 79 model.

thanks for the info. this car has the vents on the front fenders and of all the cars i have been looking at on here the z-28's seem to be the only ones with them and it also has the hood cowl now is that only the z-28 that has this or is it on different ones.

It may not necessarily be a z28 with those options. A friend of mine had a 79 350 cu which I believe had Type LT or Berlinetta Emblems with those options including the front and rear sway bars and did not have the z28 emblems. The only way to determine the original model is to use the VIN Number and decode it. The link I gave you should provide the information you require.
