I'll Let myself in
Greetingsall!, I'm a 21 yr old from Iowa US, and finally finally i got a car worth talking about. Before this i drove a grand am, a camry and a corolla (good gas milage, but...life's too short to drive slow cars.)I've been looking for a good place to come to share my joys and concerns about my newlyacquiredCamaro. Judging from the previous newb posts, you all want to know what car they have, and pics of it so, without further adieux here you are:
1996 Z-28, 6 speed. (bought it4 or5 weeks ago)
Hardtop (i like t-tops, but the price was right on this one)
Lowish milage 65k, and so far all that ive done is change out the sparkplugs (put some NGK platinums in), and put on a K & N cold air.

Ive already got a shopping wantlist for this puppy:
-Exhaust [for power and for sound!]
(still open to suggestions, but i think ive been talked out of headers)
-Jet Chip or reprogrammer
( right now i have a flutter in mypower @ 5000rpm, where peak hp is. I need to set revlimitera little higher [so i can beat my friends gay subaru])
-Sound System.
probably just a new head unit, and one of those mtx thunderform single 10" sub/amp things. they fit nicely in my (needed)cooler-sized trunk. and perhaps 5 new speakers. ( i need lots of advice in this department, also, im a little disapointed in the Bose system thatsin there now, i always thought Bose was top of the line.

Welcome to the forums. Nice looking car, only a little dirt on it - cool. JK. Why not go with headers? Check out the audio section, there are a bunch of folks in there who have tons of knowledge.
