hey wuts up my name is joseph i just bought a 97 Z28 and i am plannig on changing the oil in a few days. i was wondering if any one can tell me if it is all right to put royal purple oil in.

 

Welcome to the forums. post some picks if ya can. Sorry but I'm not sure about the newer cars with the oil ,so don't know for sure. I did it to a 97 blazer and it was fine. I'm sure someone here will know.

 

I like Mobil 1 and so does GM. The Royal Purple is pretty pricey on certainly isn't any better than Mobil 1. We have a big testing facility here in San Antonio and They've said that Mobil 1 is the best Synthetic Oil on the market. Good luck and enjoy the forum.

Personally I wouldn't spend the extra money on a product that I can get a little cheaper from another brand that will do the same thing.

 

I personally get the best E/T's with Royal Purple. Mobil 1 is OVER RATED!!!
