Default Howdy yall

The name's Nate. I'm in the Army, stationed down here at Fort Bliss, Texas. I've got a lifted Z71, and a lowered C10. I'm looking to trade in my Z soon, seeing as how gas isn't getting any cheaper. Started doing some research, and figured this would be a good place to start.

Welcome to the forum. I can understand why you would want to trade in that Z71. My mom drives a 2005 Avalanche with the little 5.3 liter V8 and that thing can still drink some gas like a SOB. Its a nice truck, but it gets old as she uses it as her daily driver.

Exactly why I don't want it anymore. A lifted 5.3L with 35's and 4.10's isn't exact a "hybrid." I get 13 mpg on the highway, and 10 mpg in the city. I'm looking to get a '10-'11 SS2 after tax season.

Nice! Make sure you get it with a 6-speed manual.

That's the only way to go man. Wouldn't even consider an auto in a car.
