My name is Chappie.I am the happy owner ofa99 Camaro 3800 5 speed. only real option is AC due to the fact its from FLA. Three years ago I sold my 81 TA w/455 Pontiac B.Bfor reasons that I couldnt stand looking at it any more just sitting in the yard. With, at that time 2 children and 2 SUV's (of course mine of the GM family, hers of the Ford) I realised that the Bird probably wouldnt be flying any time soon. So I did what any smart guy would have done......I burned it......Nah just kidding. I sold it to some guy never to be seen again. Kinda like when I was a kid. My old mans daily driver was a 69 SS/RS 396 that got as many gallons to the mile as my Ram does now. So as I did, he sold it, fora 79 Impalla wagon.Which ended up being my first Chevy.
This past summer my dad and I did the Hot Rod Power Tour from start to finnish. We drove his 04 GTO which was fun do drive, all the way from Spring Hill Florida(where my folks live) all the way to Methuen Ma where I live. You should have seen some of the cars on that trip. Started to get kinda depressed that I sold my toy. I promised that some day I would be able to share the experience that my dad and myself shared with my son or daughter. So two weeks ago, I went out and bought my new toy/project. So here I am. To warn you guys, stupid comments and thoughts come alot faster than normal if not sanethoughts do, so BEER with me.
