Default Howdy from AZ! 1969 RS SS

Glad to be here. Got a new to me 1969 camaro rs ss. It has a 462 (454 .30 over) and our family absolutely loves it. I'm glad to find this forum and looking forward to getting some great technical advice from the members.

Thanks guys. My first question is how to make her run a little cooler? I know these old muscle cars were not meant for long rides in AZ 105 temps! Lol. I have been driving her mostly at night and she tends to run a little hot. Can I do a better mixture of 75/25 water/antifreeze?

I have an electric fan installed in mine. By-passed the thermal control to a switch in the dash. I leave it on all the time during the summer months, keep the temp right.
