Hi everyone, I am new and attempting my first project...
Hi all
hope everyone is safe and healthy. I just recently bought a 1967 Camaro that was rusting outside under trees from a retired gentleman. This is my first project ever and dream car. Hope I can learn a lot from everyone here. I just enjoy and appreciate everyone's passion for their hobby.
Good luck to me.......

Welcome aboard .I would get some books (Like an assembly manual ) for your cars .And make a plan on what you can afford and can do to the car .It may take awhile to do so.But remember its a hobby .And sometime throws roadblocks in the way .Good luck to you.

Hi Everyone,
I hope y'all are well and staying healthy. I have been allocating as much time I can into my first ever project car. All I can say is this was well worth the experience and a great escape from my daily, average joe, office job. I am not a professional mechanic just a guy that breaks things to learn.
Please see pictures of progress and hope you enjoy! I apologize in advance that I was unable to bring this car back to its original as nothing was matching so I went the fun budget friendly route to enjoy driving her.
Basically I had to gut everything out, wires all chewed/melted, interior rotted, and repaired/salvage any metal parts I could.
Cleaned/rebuild the engine best I could, she sounds okay for a 327(if anyone can educate me on my engine I'd greatly appreciate it! I got lost in the manuals)
She runs and drives but still needs more work!
let me know your thoughts! all opinions welcome
interior gut out
removing fenders that were too rusted to salvage and sanding body to bare metal
A muscle needs some thicccck tires/wheels
Found some cheap fiberglass fender off Kijij!
Spray lots and lots of primer/body filler
LED tail lights
went with Matte black because I'm basic....
