Hi Everyone
So im new to the forums I came here to search for some advise.
Last few days I been following the threads and Links to restoring a 69 camaro.
I had told my dad i wanted to start restoring a car and i brought up a really nice
71 Chevelle , 69 Impala fastback, and 70 Firebird.
I was looking in the paper and i found these to be the best options under my budget.
My dad and I went to go check them out .All of them were solid cars and they were near complete.
Not much of a project if All they need is a paint job.
My dad did a couple of calls and he went to his friends Junk yard.
My dad literally fell into this car. he was walking and he lost his footing and he ate **** nasty.
His hands are nicely bruised and were swollen that whole day.
Well he came home that day and told me to go to his friends Shop.
I went and found this nice 69 camaro.
The thing with this car is the fact it doesnt start and sat in an Indoor Junk yard for 15 years+.
The owner told me the story about it. He said he bought this car and was his daily car until he lost his legs
to diabetes. He saved this car for his son but when his son was old enuff to drive he asked for an Import.
So the car just stayed there longer. Exterior looks good with no dents just faded paint. Interior is pretty bad.
we found some rust in the trunk and the passenger side floors. Seems theres plenty of work ahead.
Im glad too Camaros are such amazing cars. my 94 z28 has brought plenty of happiness.
