Default Hi!

New to the forums. I don't own a Camaro, I'm just a stupid ricer for now. However, my brother just bought a 4th gen V6, and I'm trying to learn more about it for a few reasons,

1. He doesn't want to get on a forum and learn more about his own vehicle, and I don't want to see him make any uninformed decisions about his car

2. Bday and Xmas coming up soon, so I need ideas (non-engine mods, since we will be doing an engine/tranny swap eventually)

3. I know jack about Camaros (I'm from the Mazda world).

Thanks in advance guys!

Well, welcome to the forum and give us some info on the ride and we will do our best to help you out. What year, what's going in it, and tell your brother he sucks, lol. And if possible, post up some pic's of the car. Look around, have fun and we will steal and wow you from Mazda world, lol.

Unforutunately I have no pictures of the car. It's purple and has 'vette wheels, 3.4L V6 '95.
He told me this was going to be his weekend toy, he told his g/f that it's good on gas (lol)

@bluovlh8er (nice name, btw) - The mazda hasn't been to a dyno yet, but, with the given mods, i'm guessing somewhere around 240whp/263wtq. Definitely NOT a drag car, she's my track baby, which is why the beefy mods are all suspension work.

@bigblockhemi - he knows that he sucks, I'll get him on a forum eventually.

3.4L V6 '95.

Heh, it's not that good on gas, which she'll find out anyway. Unfortunately the 3.4 is just....well, the redheaded stepchild of engines that came in 4th gens. Do that swap quick!

That car doesn't produce the power that would require any really "needed" no engine mods. I would say a Cat-back system, and suspension stuff like Subframe connectors (for sure), swaybars, shocks, Lower control Arms...etc. Everything else really is appearance and a matter of taste. Like wheels, CAMARO letter fill in decals or Stainless inserts, drilled rotors, SS hood, SS spoiler, RS kit, Berger Panel, Halo lamps, HID kit, Clear Corner Lenses, Stripes, ...etc. Take a look at my sig, I have a few appearance mods.

Yeah, he saw the clear reflectors (front corner of the bumper) in a mag and loved them, so I bought those.

Do you have any other pics of your car? It's hot!

edit: nevermind. I clicked.
