Hey guys and gals, new/old 'maro lover here.
Hello everyone, pardon the asian sounding name here, its a name that started back in the day. Anyways, I might have posted here on a different forum in the past, but I don't think I ever introduced myself.
I live in Portland, Oregon, own 2 supras and my grandfather's ol' 1991 Z28 305tpi. It's a fun ride, got a new fuel pump put in, new computer, some new wiring since the old stuff went bad, new windshield annnd...hmmm....suspension and brakes all around.
I'm working on getting it fixed up slowly but surely. Its got about 201k on it, so I'm trying to be nice to it a bit, but it still feels like its got life in it, no thunking clunking smoking or booming. When I took it to the mechanic, he looked over then engine and said he was impressed at how well the engine had been cared for. It could be better, seeing as it dies on me when cruising slow, and by slow I mean like 15 and under, then give it a little bit of gas and then let off, seems like I'm flooding it, not really sure. Its more common after a restart when the engine has warmed up a bit. The cooling system is top notch as far as I can see and feel, and just got a new alternator.
Something I was hoping to accomplish was maybe some body kit suggestions, the paint has worn off the front, and faded on the hood and back bumper. Also, someday hoping to get a nice set of sidepipes, I love the look of it for some reason.
Well, break time is over at work, ill try my best to not leave for so long again, see you all later...pics will be soon.
