I just joined because I have recently become a Chevy high perfomance nut, I'm 17, gonna be 18 in oct, I've been working in my uncle's engine shop, I tear apart old core engines (350's and 400's) and he shows me how to rebuild them into high performance racing engines, I'm going to start working construction this coming week to make more money, I'm looking into an 87 camaro, and I'm planning on building a 383, with scat crank, connecting rods, edelbrock heads, intake manifold, carb, and headers, comp cams roller cam, comp cams roller lifters and roller rockers, pushrods, and timing set, clevite 77 bearings, and je pistons and rings. so that's basically going to be my life for the next few months. I know the engine will be expensive, but my uncle is the main engine builder in my town, so he basically gets half price on all of the parts from the local shop. I just wanted to introduce myself and my project
