Default Hello From WA

Hello, My name is Chris I am the proud owner of a 79 Z28. I look forward to using this forum and meeting some great people.

A little history of the car.
The car was purchased by my girlfriends father in the late 90s, he drove it for a few years and parked it. It sat in a garage for almost 6 six years and then was moved to his backyard where it sat for 5 more years. I have been dating the fathers daughter for over 7 years and he finally gave me the car. He was moving and offered the car to me if I could tow it and bring it back to life. I have owned the car for 6 months and love it dearly. So far I have rebuilt the top end, rebuild the brakes, cleaned up the interior and exterior, and now I am onto the rear suspension. It runs, drives, and stops. Can not wait to make it even better.

Hi Chris, nice to have another second gen in the fold. Has your gf's dad taken an interest in the car again since you've started its restoration?

here are a few pictures from the day I pulled it from his backyard. It hasn't moved for over 5 years. Put a fresh battery in it and and some gas and it fired up.
