Default hello from utah

just wanted to introduce myself. My name is nathan and I am from utah. I heard this site has really smart guys and lots of great people so here I am. I am almost done with my latest build and ran into one last snag so I posted my question in the 1st gen section. But either way I am happy to be here and hope to check this site out more often! It is a great feeling that my 1.5 year project is only a couple weeks away from completion!

yeah those are the Wasatch mountains.. I grew up about 30 seconds down the road from where this pic was taken. It's definitely my favorite spot to go and take pics of my cars..

That's my plan.. Stock looking sleeper camaro with rallys pushing 1000whp. It's almost there! I am very excited. it wasn't easy stuffing a fuel injected, aftercooled, twin turbo 540 in there though.. everyone that says " oh those old cars have so much room " are WRONG.. lol

I guess I will go do a write up of my car in the turbo section.. I don't see a members rides section on this site.. But thanks again for all the comments and I am glad to be here.

You might think differently if you tried to do that with a 4th gen car lol.
I stuffed a 427 in my old '69 on a shoestring budget with limited experience at age 22.
I know a lot more about cars now at 53 and I dread the thought of even replacing a sparkplug in my '93.
These cars are a PITA compared to a gen one.
Looking forward to the engine build posting.

I also own a 99 camaro with a mean, fully built LS7 ( 580 WHP NA ) and that car has so much more room.. But then again it's just a 427 small block. not a twin turbo 540 big block. lol.

tires are 335/35/18 with a custom moser 12 bolt. It was shortened 2" on each side.. they are definitely fat bastards and who would of known, the car cant hook to save it's life.. it needs drag radials. I am trapping 124 mph which isn't bad up here in utah.. I just need to get my 60' down and I can do so much better..
