i worked at a chevy dealership as a mechanic when third gens came out,i fell in love with the style,now a millwright.4yrs ago i built a 85 iroc,t-roof,305,auto car.turfed the 305 put in a 375 horse 350 i built,interior was mint and i painted it black.it was stolen before it got dirty for the first time, 2yrs ago i got a 86 no t-tops 5-speed,305, i put another 350 in this one.i did everything to this car put posi disc brake rear,new struts,the only parts under the car not changed were rear springs,interior done wicked stereo done.all was left paint, body work was done.on my way to paint shop with my wife following me,a young girl ran a red light totaled my car,everyone was alright. to present iam about to pick up a 88 iroc 350 t-top car,auto.ive seen it, its a friend of a friends.the car was locked so i couldnt get in,its a story ill make it short,my friend has what he wants i have what my friend wants i get camaro.my point not really sure car year 88-89?it has vats,ignition switch is broke,can i put older column in ? sorry for the book lol first post newbie
