Hello new guy with need for info on low mileage 84'
My father has a 1984 Z28. Black, T-tops, every option on the build sheet. He is looking to possibly sell it in future but is not sure what it is worth.
We didn't bother with the blue book, because this car is special. It is all original, I mean ALL down to the tires and every bolt. And it has 5,835 from the factory miles on the odometer. Not fifty, but 5 thousand miles. Other than one silver dollar sized rust spoton the hood you can see yourself in the paintjob from a long way back. it is mint. all paperwork, etc.
I'm hoping someone has seen something comparable over the years and might have an idea what the value is?

wow,,, so wheres the pictures? 25 yr old tires??? holy smokes,,,
not sure id trust em to far. sounds like a great car and something you may wish to keep in the family for a couple generations. you will probly not find on with miles like that on it except maybe the gm museum. id put a tag of like 20k on it and if it sells fine if not fine. you may then get some offers to get a better idea if your in the ballpark. oh yah, this is for intro's,,, welcome to the forum and enjoy.

Yeah, tires look like new, but we rarely drive it,a and even then just around town enough to give the engine and tranny time to work a little. Thanks for the guesstimate on the price, we're just having a hard time trying to figure it out. Might be a good idea to go to a regional chevy show, put the wax to the old girl and just see what happens. FOr it to be worth much it would probably have to be someone who fell in love with that first real 80,s Z28 model.
