Default Hello, new to forum

Hello, I am new to this forum but not to the Camaro. I have a 1987 camaro that I bought new in 87. Poor thing just sits most of the time but I do get it out once in a while. Recently I noticed it smells like gas when I drive it. It is a carborated 305 with an automatic trans. The fuel pump is not the issue but I suspect the carb is a little worn out. Are these carbs an easy rebuild or should I leave it to the experts?

Thanks
Mike

Welcome to the forum, post up some pics of the ride.

For your question, depends if you want to keep it stock or not. Rebuilding a card isn't that hard if you're somewhat mechanical. If you don't care about keeping it stock you could just get a newer card for it. But that would cost a little more.
