Hello. I've owned Camaro's since high school (had a 1979 Camaro as my first, but many others thereafter). I am into american muscle and sports cars (on my 6th Vette, and countless others). Prefer GM product, my dad was always a Chevy guy.

In May this year, my wife and I traded our 2009 Pontiac Solstice toward purchase of a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS convertible. It had been a dealer car, carrying only 4000 miles on her, and the warranty begins with me (3 year/5 year!). I can't believe the deal I got on this, probably the best overall deal I've gotten on a car ever.

I've started on some mods, though I don't intend to go wild on the engine other than some cosmetics. Did add a CAI and it came with GM's performance exhaust.

I hope to find this a friendly and productive community - I know some other sites are not so - and a place to network and share with others who enjoy the same kinds of cars. Good to meet you all!

Hey there, yes indeed. I'm in Round Rock, have been here going on 18 years. I have some other really fun cars as well as the Camaro - let's hook up some time and talk cars, if you want. I'd like to see if we could generate some local Round Rock interest in cars and also, as I am with a non profit, I've thought about maybe organizing one day a car show event to benefit the charity (which focuses on helping kids kick depression).
