Just registered today on Camaro forum. Looking forward to assisting others when possible (GM Parts Manager) as well as learning from fellow enthusiasts. My cars include a 1981 Camaro Z28, original factory 4-speed, black T-Top with about 105K on the odometer, and a 1985 black Corvette coupe. Have owned the Z since 1994 and a cosmetic restoration was finished by 1999 (body, paint, interior). Camaro needs attention again, main concern is a rusty left rear frame rail (Indiana winters, PO drove year round). Suggestions on sources for a complete, solid frame rail?

 

welcome! I am brand new to the forums and new to camaros, but from what I have seen so far from this site, I am sure there are plenty of people that can help you and plenty more that you will be able to help as well. You should definitely post some pics of those rides.

 

Welcome to Camaro Forums Larry. A boneyard down south would be a good place to check for a rust free frame rail section. You should be able to find it up here too, not everybody drives their Camaro in the winter.
