Welcome to the forums!
Dont let anyone poke fun at you for having a v6. You have a very reliable car and your wallet will thank you. In the mean time, you can start looking into what other members have done and get a better idea of what you want your camaro to be in the long run.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone, i enjoy all your post and ideas. ive learned that its pretty much a requirement to add some cross members and strut tower braces to this camaro before i can put some horsepower in it, from what ive read in some of your guys's post. i appreciat any and all recommendations i should do to better my camaro. thanks gooseman

yeah, I will say doing just about anything to these cars takes time and patience. A engine swap will be one heck of a challenge but its possible.
