Hello Camaro Forums!
Hello Camaro Forums! I’m a total newbie to this arena, but not to the world. Back in 1969, I owned a ‘67 RS. I (like thousands of other teens) modified, swapped, exchanged, raced, and altered every component of that car (not to mention knew every cop on a first name basis). We drove them in the winter (salt and over spray) and drove the daylights out of them in the summer. We didn’t know what we had!
I am presently finishing the complete restoration of a numbers matching, ’67 RS convertible. 327-275hp, power glide, factory a/c, factory tilt, and 3:08 posi rear end. Bolero red, with parchment deluxe interior, and white top. The frame off total process has lasted over seven years. Countless hours have been invested in doing what’s right, and not necessarily what’s affordable. I still get excited about this project, because I don’t think it will every be totally done! I’ve tried to be as factory correct as possible with every turn of the wrench.
The wife and I (and grand kids) have enjoyed cruising to the Dairy Queen and a couple other burger joints. The cruising has been limited, as I’m still putting finishing touches on this beauty. I really enjoy meeting other gear heads and their spouses (both young and old) and this car really draws them - like a magnet to steel. It’s now the dead of winter (come on spring time)!

I'd like to share a couple of photo's with you but, I'm finding that option doesn't exist.
When I signed up to this forum (three days ago) I could not post a question or an introduction (after I had filled out all the information required and received a reply via email). So I waited a couple of days. Today I can post an introduction, but see that other options are not turned on.
In reading how to post pictures, I find a recommendation in the newbies sector that suggests to "go advanced" and then click on the "add attachments" which is located about four items below the "text" section of any reply. Again, that area does not exist below the text box.
I see that if I preview my post, that:
You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts
I can't post attachments, oh well! This is way too much work to ask a simple question about a 45 year old car!
Any moderator may remove both these posts as I will not be returning to Camaro forums.
