Default Hello from the Black Hills

My name is Sawyer and I'm from the Northern Black Hills of South Dakota.
I currently have a '78 Chevy K20 pickup. And a '93 Eagle Talon TSi AWD.
I've always been a fan of both imports (when done right) and V8s. Sprinkle in some vintage Euro cars for added taste (like my grandpa's '70 Triumph TR6 for instance).
I work full time for a carpet cleaning business. And hopefully gonna be going to schoo Spring Semester at BHSU.
Hoping to go look at an '81 Berlinetta Camaro tomorrow night.

Look forward to getting advice if I get this car.

Sawyer

Hi from SW WA,ridden my Harley all through your area, six times to the Sturgis rally, best trip was not during all the madness though it was after things were over and had quieted down.
I'm a rural type guy living near a small logging town less than half the size of Sturgis so the crowds of posers at the rally are a bit much for me.
I really enjoyed the Black Hills without the crowds, beautiful country.
Ever been through Buffalo SD pop.488?.
That's where we stayed last time lol, long ways out but quiet.

Welcome to the Forum !! My two brothers have Harleys and I picked a Camaro instead, but they went through the Dakota's and Sturgis a couple of months ago on thier trip to Fairbanks Alaska. Hear its beautiful country up there in the Black Hills area, I would love to take the Z on vacation there.

Used to have a 1975 Jeep Wagoneer. Had a 401. Full time 4 wheel drive. I used and abused it.

Never been as far North as Buffalo. And I hate the Rally.

Can't say I blame ya for not liking the rally, wasn't so bad 20 years ago when it was smaller but it's gotten stuck on stupid and way too big these days.
I wouldn't want it up here in my beautiful hills either and I'm a biker lol

That old '78 K20 is a great old rig,here's mine also a '78 but a GMC with a 454.
