Hello all
Hi, my name is Wendy.
I am 20 years old and I am from South Carolina. I have always dreamed of having a third generation Camaro, I love them. So when I was 16 I got a job, saved my money, and bought a 1982 Berlinetta for $600. It is blue with black racing stripes, but badly needs a paint job. It has a v-6 of course. Anyway, I had a lot of problems with it and it stayed parker for a couple of years. Just about a year or so ago I got it fixed, it needed a new transmission and a new engine, so not too much is original in it. Right now I drive it to work every day.
It still BADLY needs a paint job and a new exhaust, but she's my baby and I love her.
About 6 months ago I went to a place here called Brock's Firebird and Camaro, to see if they had a part for my Berlinetta. I pulled up and saw this car I sell in love with. I wanted it and I got it. I LOVE LOVE this new car of mine. Right now it is sitting in it's parking spot though because someone slashed my tires, I am so upset, but am okay with driving my Berlinetta. Anyway, my new baby is a purple 1989 RS with a 350 v-8, straight pipe, hood scoop, groud effects, spoiler, man I love this car. I have got a few speeding tickets in the past year driving these cars though lol.
I think my love of Camaros came from my dad. I'de say he has about 13 Firebirds, Camaros, and Trans Ams total. They are all second generation, except one, a 1984 Z28 which is my moms. I fell in love with hers, but unfortuantely it is parked because it needs transmission work. I keep trying to convince them to at least move it to get them motivated to fix it because I would love to see it back on the road. If I ever won the lottery, her car would be as good as mine lol just kidding. But i do love my purple one. If I find out who slashed my tires I will take a baseball bat to their head... I was thinking it must be some jealous Mustang owner, I don;t have many enemies lol.
Anyway, sorry to rant, my name's Wendy and I'm new here!
