Hello from Afghanistan.
Hey the name is Eric, and im currently rotting away in the deserts of Afghanistan lol. Well I bought a very low mileage 2000 RS about a year ago, and love it to death....however, it was not my original intent to buy a V6. So im faced with a delima. I could take the easy route and just sell it, and buy a SS or Z28, but a big part of me kinda wants to make my lil ol V6 atleast slightly able to run with the big guns. What i would like to know, (because i am payed by the Government and we all know that aint much) is what is the most cost effective way to gain HP? Adding Power adders is not out of the question, but i dont really want to spend more than like $1500 for a turbo or super. I realize the best bang for my buck is probably chippin it. If anybody could give me some pointers id be extremely apprieciative. Thanks!

If you really want to get a car with more horses, just sell it. There is no real cheap way of turning a v6 into a monster. You can do it, but it's almost always cheaper to sell it or just buy a second car, one for racing.
Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Oh brother how I feel for you. I just redeployed in June from the Korengal Valley, Kunar Province. Afghanistan is the butthole of the world. On the bright side, at least you have internet access. Stay alive bro.
