Hello
Hello all! I don't have a Camaro as of yet but my aim is to have one within the next year - I may be getting one this weekend in fact. I really don't care what kind of Camaro my first one is or how bad of a condition its in. I'd actually be happy with a bit of a project car. If its a V6 my requirement though is that its a manual cause they're so much fun and if its a V8 I'm not super picky. I just want to shove it to my friend from school because he has a '88 K5 Blazer, an '03 Mustang GT, and an '03 Neon SRT-4... lmao

If you are on a budget I would suggest 1996-2002 3800 5-speed. This is a bullet proof combo. The only week spot was the intake gaskets and most of them have been changed by now. If you are younger you will like the insurance. When I switch from a 94 cutlass to my 96 V6 Camaro the insurance went down. Anything built in the 90 with a V8 can get pricey to insure for a younger person. It will not get great gas mileage around town, but on the High way I was seeing 30 MPG.
The 3800 V6 was redesigned in 1995 to the Series 2 (SII) It is rated at 200 hp but has nice low end torque for a V6. The 5 speed can make it fun to drive.
