Hello
Im an 18 yoa female from Louisiana. My fiance Ken (21)and I have a silver 99 camaro we are working on. He got it sometime in Jan. of this year. So far theres few mods, mostly exterior (it was ran smack into a ditch about 2 months ago so still working on the body) smoked tail lights halo headlights under glo lights exhaust, few mods to the engine, a rather nice sound system and a few detail accessories here and there. Ill post pics later and through our progress. The car was bought from a dealer in New Orleans who said it wasnt in Katrina. What a liar! This car is like Christmas from the grinch. Everytime we work or replace a different part we find another clue that the car was completly flooded, trashed, and through together like crap. Under the new carpet lots of rusty parts, the car was fully electrical (seats locks windows alarm ect) we found all kinds of extra wires and things they hide and covered and just made it standard, inside the drivers side door panel was glass like the window was shattered and all kinds of other nice suprises around the car. A month after he bought it the engine blew so theres a new engine, not the one we wanted but cant complain when it was free. Of course we will upgrade later to a v8 (ls1). No worries though it just gives us a little more work which is the fun part. Lots of plans for the future but ill keep updated. Its nice to be part of the Camaro World!
