Default from the ground up

For the past year I have been piecing together a 1982 Berlinetta Camaro. When I first started it was an empty shell. There were no doors, no interior whatsoever, (except the dash) no front glass, no motor or trans, and no front clip. Luckily enough I had a wrecked fully loaded 1987 Pontiac GTA laying around that would give me pretty much everything I would need. The first step was to yank the 5.0 HO out of the trans am. I ended up bending one of the exhaust tips on my buddy's truck trying to use drastic measures. (it's a long story) Considering that the 82 was a six banger I just used the V8 mount out of the trans am, no problem. I completely stripped the GTA of all of it's man hood including the rear end because it had a 2 series carrier and a limited slip rear dif. The 82 soon got the power lock/ window doors off of the Pontiac as well as a completely rebuilt 305 (most definently not to stock), the rear end, the radiator, and even the complete interior, carpet and everything. I managed to scavenge up some old fenders and I found a complete front bumper assembly for a 85 berlinetta at a local junk yard. The trans is just and old turbo 350 but it seems like it is going to work well. When it came to the hood I wanted something wicked and different looking, so I opted for a custom "stinger" fiberglass hood from fiberglass customs. This hood is modeled off the old 427 stinger corvettes hood. The rear spoiler is off of a 80 something firebird that had a big block 400 in it. The only things I lack now is hooking up the torque arm, hooking up my fan relays, finding a power steering pump to put on the pig, hooking up my new front sway bar (that's as big as a tree trunk and off the trans am as well) hooking up all of my lights and sending the pig off to paint. It's forever been my dream to actually build something from the ground up. The first day we got everything hooked up a drove it out of the garage was completely insane!!!!!!!!!!!!
