Greetings and Salutations
Hey everyone, I'm glad to join this forum and hope I can become a good member of this community. I'm 19 and live in Toronto
I'm actually looking for my first car, which I want to be a nice Camaro. I don't like traditional cars because they all look the same, and I love the look of muscle, especially older ones.
What I would like to ask is if anyone could give me some info about what I should be looking for? I like the older muscle, but I want something that can handle long drives (6h). My overall budget is around 10k, tops. Preferably less, but I'm willing to cut down on stuff and save.
I'm not a car fanatic, but I have buddies who are, so detailed information is great.
I hope one day soon I can post up pictures of my car, and immerse myself in this.

Well hello Erku and welcome to the forum. If I had to do it all over again I would probably go for a 2nd gen that I know is in good condition and would have only cost me 6k instead of the 30k thats sitting in my sig. Ild say look around and you might nfind yourself a good 3rd gen for what you want to spend.....but goodluck on your search.
I really like the look of the 1969.
Sadly, I found a beautiful condition 1969 one on autotrader last week for only 10k. It was clean, engine looked great, but I didnt have the money. I dont think ill ever get a chance like that again. '71 also looks nice, but the '69 is really beautiful. Whats wrong with first gen? Just unreliable, or if i put some money in it to fix the parts (tanny etc) will it run alright?
