Thumbs up Greetings from New Mexico

I bought a used '82 Z28 for my son for his HS graduation.
It was pretty rough but after ripping out the cat. converters, new exhaust installed and a tune up it is running fine. It does have some tranny issues which I'll post about soon.
I hope to gain some good information here and maybe help out too if I can.
Glad I found this place.

Where in New Mexico?

I'm originally from Gallup but go to UNM in Albuquerque (well except for this semester...I'm down in Guadalajara, Mexico for a semester exchange and I'll be back in December)

Oh...and welcome!

Just put in a rebuilt 4 speed automatic tranny in the '82.
My boy tells me it rides so much smoother. I haven't had a chance to take it out yet but will soon.
Hmmmm...what next?
