Seriously,

Im not sure yet. I was thinking v8 upgrade. Dont know with I want LS or LT (havent looked up the differences between the 2 yet. But im hoping to go with an engine & transmission that comes from the same car.

My guess is that ill have to change:

Engine (8cylinder)
Transmission (6speed)
Differential (Probably off a Gm truck)
Suspension + Brakes + Wiring

I dont have a clue where to start of what to look for.
I want something that performs (+/- 400hp) reliable, easy to maintain.

For now thats all I know, still in the learning curb!

400whp reliably is going to be all LS1, that can be had fairly easily with just a cam swap, headers and a decent exhaust.

To be honest, swapping a v6 car to a v8 is QUITE a chore, if a v8 is what you're after, it my be best looking to purchase a v8 car as you'll be ahead of the game. If not and you're a glutton for punishment, I'd look for a totaled LS1 car and buy it, as you'll need the large majority of its parts

yep you will need allot more than what you have listed and agree with cheeks you would be better off selling one you have and buying a v8 model
