Google got me here
Hi everyone
Yes, I needed to join such a great group and good old Google found you guys on the top of the list
I am new here, and new to Camaro. I collect a few muscle cars and never thought of getting a Camaro, (no insult to you at all, but just never did).
Whilst working on a 71 Challenger, I was directed to an upholstry guy, well known for his superior work, in order to do my car. I met him and his ex-72 Camaro. It looked so beautiful, I could not resist it, and he needed the cash
He has really done much work on it, including a stroker kit, but also changed the seats and a few other items from the stock ones to some fancier or newer versions, which I will have to concider keeping or not??
Here I am now, saying hello to you all, and will domy bestto learn as much as I can about this pretty car, in order to sort out what needs sorting, and/ or bring it back to as much of its original state as possible.
So bear with me as I ask many questions.
Here are a few pics, the first two infront of the previous owner's shop. Hope you like her.
Cheers

RE: Google got me here
Thank you too my good man, such a lovely welcome, makes one feel really good
Yes, I am loving my Camaro by the day, although I only get to drive it a couple of days per month. I try to drive each carI have which is in good working order, and the Camaro is amongst the best.
I drive them when I first buy them, in order to list what needs to be done. Once repaired or restored, I drive them to enjoy them.
This one needs a few things to make it perfect, inclusive of a new carburettor, which I am checking with the "Gurus" in the technical dep.
By the way, your car is awsome too, cool, sleek and very pretty, and I pray that you achieve your dream of owning the right 1st gen Camaro.
Cheers
