Talking Going to pick up my Camaro tomorrow!

I found a Camaro in Chicago, and I'm going to go get it tomorrow. It's a white 2002 3800 Series II with a five-speed and 88k on the odometer. Oh, and it's got T-tops.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day (my flight leaves at 5:30 from the airport 30 min. away. So, I'm getting up at 3:30 in the morning), I'm flying in and driving back the same day. Yes, I do have someone who's gonna drive with me. Driving back to Greenville, SC.

I can't wait to get the car! Pics will come Sunday hopefully, after I've gotten to detail/clay bar/wax it.

Welcome, and congrats on the new purchase. The car must have been a heck of a deal to come up here for it. Be prepared for a complete body search at the airport though. I've done an out of state buy, fly down/drive back before. The airlines look at you very closely because you purchased a one-way ticket (think kamikaze).

I did get a great deal. I'm paying $4500, and KBB tells me it's worth about $5800. I plan to keep this car for a long time, so I'm definitely not looking at this as something that must hold value...just last. Plane tickets weren't terrible either.

I didn't think about the airlines being suspicious. I'll make sure to have plenty of time for security, though, I'm pretty sure it won't be too busy at 4:30 in the morning on Saturday!

Pictures don't work that way.
You need to upload them to a host site, like photobucket.com.
Then copy the IMG code and paste it here.

All I see when I upload from a site like that is an image icon, but no image. Is there some way to make those always show? I'm not very good at getting pictures up onto forums.

When you upload your pics on photobucket, you click on the image you want, a drop box will appear. At the very bottom of the drop box is a image code, click on the code it will automatically copy itself the paste it here, hit submit reply and it should show up.
