Thought I'd figure I would post a hello thread to say hello to everyone here. I'm no stranger to auto forums because I'm currently a member to a few others for my other ride. Right now I'm in the search for a 4th gen at the right price that will be my garage queen. This site has been a godsend for all the valuable information I have learned thus far. Have a few to look at this weekend so hopefully one of them I will drive home.

Any pointers that I should look for when looking at a 4th gen. A friend told me that I should really consider 98 and above for the LS1 engine. Is the LS1 engine whole lot better compared to the LT1?

Welcome to the forum. The LS1 has more HP than the LT1, as far as it being a "whole lot better," that depends on who you're talking to.
