Default First Camaro...1969 Convertible

Hi, my name is Phil and I bought my first Camaro today. I found a great deal on a 1969 Camaro Convertible. It is all stock with a 250 six and power slide. The lady I bought if from is the only owner. It hasn't been on the road for three years. It will run but there is a stoppage in the fuel line. The body is fair with some rust. It has been a south car all it's life. I had to make some promises to the lady I bought it from: She gets first chance if I ever sell it(fat chance)
I have to let her drive it when I get it restored.
You might have noticed my profile name, Kammie, this is what she named the car. The best part is the car was less then one mile from my house.
I dreamed of having a 69 Indy Pace car and I got pretty damn close.

This is one of those deals you hear rumors about from a friend of a friend who heard it from somebody. This is the real deal. I will post pictures when I get it home. I paid $3000 for it and I get to keep the antique plates.

Wow congrats on the new ride. Be sure and post up a project thread when you get started with the restoration.

I did a check on the VIN# for this car. In 1969 Chevy only made 1707 Convertible Camaro's with a six cyl. This is a rare car. It will be home tomorrow so pictures will be up soon.
