Default Enjoying the american muscle

Just was looking for a new stuff on the internet for my car and ran across this. my name is tyson and im from scottsbluff, ne. and i am just turning 20. i have had a 1974 camaro since i was 17 and i have been trying to get it fixed up cuz i have to represent chevrolet right. when i first bought the car it would max out at 45 mph. oh ya tons of speed. but i was able to get her running right. then my motor gave out on me on my way to church so i have now purchased a 97 350 vortec and am turning that to carbrated. just finished buying all new parts for the internals. it now has a 496 intack and 510 exhaust cam. dont remember if thats exact numbers think it is to early for me to think. but just got the motor put in yesterday. it used to have a 350 transmission not sure hwere it came from but it had a 9 inch tail so i think it was out of a truck. but now replaced that with a 350 bulletproof with a 6 inch tail. just about to put that in. and then all i will need is a driveshaft that will have to be lengthened to fit. and im not sure on how to measure that up i thinki just need to take it somewhere and have them make it 3 inches longer if u know some good sites or u know the original specs on the 74 drive line let me know. glad to be a part of the chevy love.

Welcome. Post some pics when you get a chance. www.classicindustries.com would be a good place to start for parts that are hard to find.
