Default don't burry me here.....

....just because I own a mustang

really tho,

hey fellas, my name is john, and I DO own a 68' mustang coupe. I'm really not a FORD guy or a MOPAR guy, but kinda an everything guy..... well, I just graduated from highschool, and this fall I'm attending SDSU for a BS in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. (yes both of em)

anyway....

unfortunately, not very many kids these days are as interested in cars as what they used to be, BUT! I have infected another brain! My best friend andrew is looking for a 69' camaro for a project or one thats driveable. I sure know one end of the wrentch from the other, but I thought I'd pop in here to learn a bit more about the other breed :P so i can help him out some more.

I'll pretty much be posting exclusively in the 1st gen forums, and I'll have my questions there.

thanks fellas, and hopefully we can keep this car thing goin!

-John

Ps. I've attacehd a photo of the BETTER breed... jk.

Cool, John

I'm an SDSU grad, BSMechanical Engineering, Class of 1980.

...and I'm still a practicing mechanical engineer, 29 years later!

Welcome to the forum, brother!

Sorry about you having to drive a Mustang. Did you lose a bet?

Hahaha. Not really,'stangs aregood cars, and Fords are OK too. My 1st. gen Ford Explorer never let me down.

I think on this forum we appreciate good iron, no matter who made it. There's lot of good cars out there to enjoy.

Of course, we love Chevys just a LITTLE bit more.

Welcome John. I've got a project thread going over in the 1st gen section. Doing a total restore on it. Gonna be a beast when she is done. Nice coupe you've got there. Love the color.
