Default Day one

Just bought an '85 Camaro for my step daughter. Solid dent free body, no rust through severe surface rust though. 305 everything on this car is intact. Dash and driver seat needs replacing. Lots of TLC needing done. She is excited. You won't believe the price..... Has not been started in two years.

Cool. Lucky kid. Is it a base model or a z? Not an Iroc is it?
Love to see some pics and hear more about your plans for it..By the way welcome to CF.

Straight up Sport. No IROC OR Z. 300 bucks! Grey and Black interior, Maroon? (hard to tell because the clear coat and pigment is all but gone) Engine compartment says Maroon... A friend hooked us up with some 15" Aluminum wheels and tires. She wants it metallic black I am thinking that too since the body is so straight with maybe some satin black Z stripes or ghost stripes. It has not been started in a while so I have to do some preventive measures before trying to start it up. Prelube cylinders, treat fuel tank. Get it to start and run then do a complete fluid change and belts and hoses. Then detail the interior and get it painted....
