Hello All,
I was a Camaro owner years ago with a 72 SS and a 73 LT. I'm looking to buy a 96 or 97 model as I hear that they had engine features that others in the late 90's did not. If you can help me with information I'd appreciate it. I'll look through the other threads here to see if I can get educated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. 93-97 LT1 cars are pretty much the exact same. 93-early 95 models have a OBDI/non-vented opti. late 95-97 have OBDII/vented opti's. Late 95 they went to a two cat exhaust system that added 10 HP, and in 96 the SS came out adding another 20 HP. But a handful of 97's came out with the LT4 engine. That's pretty much the difference between the years. I'm sure some others may have something more to add.
