Default Checking in from PA

What's up peoples? The names Clint, but my friends call me SeaBass. I'm looking for a car, not just any car, but a specific Camaro. In 1973 my father bought a canary yellow Camaro. My father passed away in 1978 when I was just 9 months old and my mother sold his car off. I'm not sure where to even begin my search, I don't even have a VIN number at this moment. So any suggestions as to where I could locate this information would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome,

I am sure you have heard about all the privacy laws passed in the last 20 years. This makes tracking down cars almost impossible. Search Papa John's Camaro and look at how long it took him to find his old car and he knew the vin and had a 1/4 million dollar reward posted.

Sorry to say that without the vin number there would be almost no way to find the car. At this point with vin numbers all you can do is post the vin number online in as many places as possible and hope someone sees it.

Without the vin the only way you could be sure it was the car would if the guy who bought it from your Mom still owned it and remembered your Mom Since the title your Mom signed over was mailed in even he would not have proof.

A lot of the these cars got scrapped in the 80's for rust I owned a 72 and a 74 here in PA and both needed rear quarter and floor boards replaced by the mid 80s. The 72 was an 6 banger so it was scrapped. A Body shop told me to scrap the 74 but I repaired it Since it was a V8 4 speed. Many cars from that time are on their 3rd and 4th color. I wish you all the luck in the world but you are looking for a tan needle in a hay field.
