I have a 1979 Berlinetta we are building for drag racing. We ran it last year with the 305 and got to the 9:30s in the 1/8th.(local track Sunset) we decided to step it up with a 406 which we will be installing within the next week. We installed a 12 bolt rear with 4:56 gears, an 8 point roll bar, fuel cell, battery relocate and numrous other mods. Located in Pa.

 

so far i'm down to an 8.91 with my 305 good luck with the 406. Sick
