Hey guys... just found this forum. I bought a 93 Z28 for my first car when I was 17, and I have drove the wheels off it since. I probably got the car too young, but I don't know if that would have mattered- moral of the story, it has been wrecked a few times. The last time, it was a little damp and I punched it in first, and when it shifted into 2nd, (auto tranny) it spun up the rears so bad that I spun 180 degrees and hit a light pole. Luckily, I didn't hit anyone else (besides a parked jeep, which I barely touched) and no one was hurt. The car is pretty much stock, except for a K&N FIPK and a Random Tech cat back. Theres some little things like gutting the catalytic converter, but no real performance gains. I love my car, but theres sooo much I could do to help it out. First, I plan on beefing up the suspension so that it'll hold the road, then probably headers and cams. I've also thought about selling it and getting a 99-> LS1. Probably not for a while.
