Default Bought my first Camaro!

I just bought a ‘79 Camaro Z/28 and plan on restoring it. I am new to car restoration so I will need help and advice time and again. This seems like a good place with lots of knowledge and I am very excited to get my new project going.

Welcome to the Forums. You should do a build thread in the project folder and start with a bunch of pictures and list of your goals. we can help with a plan and a budget.

I think you should get a tire, also post these kind of questions in the 6th gen section, You are posting in someone else's meet and greet post. You can also start your own meet and greet post with pictures

Thanks for the warm greetings! I will post pictures hopefully some time next week. My goal is to tear it down to the frame and rebuild all of it. Most of it is original but I am not too concerned about keeping it all original, rather I would like to make it into a customized Camaro. My goal time frame is to have it complete within 12 years (that is when my daughter starts to drive). I was thinking of tearing it down to see what parts, if any are missing. Gorn, I will definitely hit you up regarding a plan and budget.
